The Ahimsa Project

Upcoming Projects

The Shared Table Initiative is a Community Farm to Table Learning Initiative in Kings County, PEI. Coming 2027! Stay tuned for opportunities to donate, volunteer, and help us build this multi-year program. This program will provide open-source information to replicate in your communities.

The PEI Conservatory and Monarch Garden Campus is a proposed ecological and educational initiative envisioned for Prince Edward Island, combining a year-round conservatory with surrounding native pollinator gardens and habitat restoration spaces. Centered on monarch butterflies and broader pollinator pathways, the campus is designed to integrate indoor and outdoor growing environments, seasonal demonstration gardens, and immersive learning areas that connect people to biodiversity, food systems, and climate resilience. It is conceived as both a living landscape and a public learning space, where conservation, agriculture, and community engagement come together to support long-term ecological stewardship. Please contact us to learn how you can participate.

REFORESTATION

I plant trees in areas affected by deforestation, renewing the land's ability to sequester carbon and supporting local ecosystems. We focus on diversity, density, and natural techniques.

We monitor pockets of undeveloped and agricultural land.

SUSTAINABLE FOOD SYSTEMS

Work with farmers and organizations to promote sustainable agricultural practices, reducing the carbon footprint of our food system. Empower local communities to grow their own food.

We provide education and resource support at the community level.

SUPPORT WOMEN & GIRLS

Support women and girls in their pursuit of sustainability education and action. We support low and middle income countries facing the highest burden of climate change. I support indigenous populations obtain tools to manage their community's resources. I support the action of groups seeking to provide resources, conservation, and resources for all species. Build systems of cooperation to help maximize group climate action goals.

WHY SUPPORT US

A New Holistic Way of Approaching Climate Change

I do not take a piecemeal approach to climate change. I work with others to invest in the concept of planetary health which uses an integrative approach to addressing climate change. No one part of the planet or the species on earth can be supported without a multi-pronged approach. Everything is connected from the microbes to the ozone. It is up to us to build integrated systems that work in harmony with nature to mitigate climate change and shift where we can to reduce its impact.
