Bhakti Yoga is one of the four main yogic paths to enlightenment... It infuses joy, divine ecstasy, bliss, peace, and knowledge- Swami Sivananda Saraswati

Susan Kiskis (Jyoti Ma Devi), RYT 300, is a yoga teacher and kirtan wallah with nearly three decades of experience in the practice and study of yoga. She has studied extensively with teachers across the U.S., Europe, and India, most notably with her guruji, Swamini Shraddhananda Saraswati of Kula Kamala Yoga Ashram, and has completed trainings in yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and more. She is an Ayurvedic yoga specialist.

Susan has taught workshops and led kirtan internationally (U.S., Ireland, Canada, Austria, India), traveling frequently to India to deepen her practice. As a founding member of the kirtan group The Mas and The Babas, she has toured the U.S. East Coast sharing this devotional chanting tradition. She leads group retreats to India.

Her teaching honors the foundations of traditional yoga while meeting students where they are, helping practitioners cultivate a deeper connection to themselves and the world around them.

Translation

Brahman is the offering (the ritual or act of offering), Brahman is the clarified butter, Brahman is the sacrificial fire, and Brahman is the one offering to the fire. By realising Brahman in action, one reaches Brahman alone.

I, having become the universal fire, residing in the bodies of living beings, and united with the inward and outward breaths, digest the four kinds of food (which is chewed, swallowed, licked and sucked).
